This album, conducted by Colonel Lowell E. Graham, is a collection of French masterpieces transcribed for and performed by the men and women of the The United States Air Force Concert Band. Containing work by the modern French masters, French Impressions is an album consisting of an incredible body of work that excites and thrills audiences. The Air Force Concert Band seeks to preserve its heritage through the music of these French composers, who not only dictated the direction of their 20th century music, but were also largely responsible for the tutelage of young American composers as well. The beautiful pieces on this album were written by composers like Jacques Ibert, Emmanuel Chabrier and Claude Debussy. Arranged by Chief Master Sergeant Lawrence Odom and Chief Master Sergeant Leigh D.
