Most of us grew up watching cartoons, and if you still think "kill the wabbit" when you hear Wagner's  "Ride of the Valkryies" from Grand Fantasie, then Tunes from Toons is just the album for you! This album is a collection of the great classical pieces featured in cartoons from Merrie Melodies, Disney, Looney Tunes, and Tom & Jerry that premiered in the 1940s and 1950s. Includes favorites such as Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody No 2" ("The Cat Concerto," Tom & Jerry, 1947) and Rossini's "The Barber of Seville Overture" ("The Rabbit of Seville," Looney Tunes, 1950).
