What is Disc on Demand (DOD)? Essentially it is a way to offer you more music! Over the years, we have acquired a vast catalog of amazing music. We currently have close to 300 albums. We have been working diligently at making all of these albums available digitally through providers such Amazon and iTunes. Now we are offering these albums in short-run quanitity. In other words, we will not have these albums manufactured at a typical CD manufacturer. Instead, we will produce them "in house" on demand. Hence the name Disc on Demand. So every CD is made with care here at Altissimo!

As mentioned before, we are not having these CDs professionally manufactured; therefore, while it is often the original art, the artwork is not as detailed as a manufactured CD. We have provided the cover art and the tray card art for the CD. We have also provided a downloadable form of the artwork for you in the form of a .pdf file so that you may have a full collection of the artwork for that CD. Many of you have asked for us to provide new music, and we believe this is the best way to do that. So every month expect 1-4 New Releases on Tuesdays. Be sure that you are signed up on our email list so that you will recieve Special Savings.

Added 11/17/2010: We have recently discovered that Disc on Demand has a hard time playing on Bose(TM) CD players. We believe this is because our DOD is manufactured on CD-R discs, and these type discs are incompatible with this brand of stereo. Due to this problem, we do not recommend their purchase if you intend to play them on a Bose brand stereo. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to find a way around it in the future!
