Ireland possesses a music culture equal to any other European country, and its folk tradition is second to none. Although the majority of the works featured in this collection are performed by various military/wind bands, also included are contributions from the bagpipes and from the "fiddle" and tin whistle, both of which are popular in the performance of folk music. This album features a collection of folk music, traditional jigs, marches, Riverdance, and symphonic work.
