The tradition of hearing composer RIchard Wagner's most inspired music played by the full complement of winds is one that reaches back directly to Wagner's time. The United States Marine Band seeks to keep this tradition alive with Music of Richard Wagner. This album contains several of Wagner's most popular compositions, including "Siegfried" and "Das Rheingold." The music represented on this album exemplifies both the talent of the Marine band and also the dedication and attention Richard Wagner put into each of compositions.
