As guardians of freedom around the world, the more than 75,000 Citizen Airmen of the United States Air Force Reserve are proud professionals, both in their civic and military life. Inspired by their selfless dedication and service, the Band of the US Air Force Reserve felt compelled to give something back to the communities and families who support them so graciously. "The Sound of Freedom" was developed especially for these communities, hoping inspiration will be drawn for future musical pursuits and endeavors by students, teachers, and other civilians alike. These discs feature the Band of the US Air Force Reserve performing classic concert band favorites on Disc One, and rock and roll hits and jazz standards on Disc Two. The Band of the US Air Force Reserve, a global ambassador for our Citizen Airmen, is wholeheartedly dedicated to artistic integrity, excellence and service.
