82nd Airborne: A Soldier's Heart

The 82nd Airborne Division's All-American Chorus presents a truly wonderful album of acapella vocal stylings in A Soldiers' Heart. The harmonies of this vocal group are perfectly executed and beautiful on all the selections, including the patriotic staple "America the Beautiful." However, their vocal capabilities as a group really shine through on popular oldies tunes such as "In the Still of the Night" and "Blue Moon," and especially on "It's Alright" and "Surfer Girl" (as made famous by the Beach Boys), where the different vocal parts really have a chance to stand out.  The quality doesn't stop there, as each song just continues to surprise and captivate you, showcasing the vocalists' diverse range and capabilities. With the country twang of "Seven Bridges Road," the tongue-in-cheek "Blood Upon the Risers" (detailing why a soldier "ain't gonna jump no more" to the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic"), and the heartfelt "A Soldier's Heart,"  A Soldiers' Heart is sure to bring a smile to your face as this group of talented men sings their way straight into your heart!
